Welcome Hello, I'm Jesse K. Welcome to my spot on the web. My site has a little bit of everything I enjoy on the net. I wasn't sure what to share so I decided to write about my interests. When I first started making a presence here on the net, I started out as AlbanyWorlds.com. I chose my domain name for my 3D virtual reality world, Albany, in the Activeworlds Universe. That was my first interest and purpose for my domain. I learned how to work and manage a personal world. In Activeworlds a personal world is your own 3D virtual reality chat room. In it you can build whatever you want and make it whatever theme you like. Along with managing my personal world, I also started making 3D custom objects for myself and friends using trueSpace. Since then I've expanded to other Activeworld Universes, Agape World Fellowship and Outerworlds. I eventually opened an additional Albany world in the Outerworlds Universe. Each universe is unique. Agape World Fellowship Universe is a free Christian online ministry in real time 3DVR chat. Users can also build in AWF. The Outerworlds Universe is another community of users that interact or build virtual reality 3D chat environments as in Activeworlds but with it's own personal flare. I got involved with a few community groups in Activeworlds. The first was AWGuides. I enjoy being a guide as I am able to take people on tours to interesting building sites in Activeworlds main world Alpha World and other AW worlds. I'm also able to take them to a number of private worlds. In addition to taking guests on tours many new citizens and tourist needed information and assistance in a diverse range of areas. Therefore, I help them with any questions they need to assist them with the AW Browser. I also helped host Bingo for the AWGuides program. Later the Bingo Program, BingoTrs, became separate from the AWGuides program but hey I still help them host when I can. I enjoy AWGuides as it's a personal way to help assist tourists and new citizens on a one on one basis. I then started being a DJ in Activeworlds - AWVR Radio. I enjoyed that so much I later I became a DJ in Outerworlds as well and more recently I've started DJing in Second Life. Currently I DJ for AWVR Radio (Activeworlds), WVRR Radio (Outerworlds), and in Second Life - Club Paradox, BREAKERS Club and Lowland Club. I enjoyed the AWGuides program so much it seemed natural for me to step up and join another community group, the Gatekeepers in Activeworlds. The Gatekeepers are dedicated individuals who volunteer their own time helping new users learn the Activeworlds software, environment and culture. They are also there to meet and greet the new user. Gatekeepers also maintain a family rating within the AWGate, the main entry point for Activeworlds, and any other world designated for entry to ensure that all users have a pleasurable and safe Activeworlds experience. You may be wondering what the difference between the two are. Well, as a Gatekeeper I have to stay in the main world, AWGate, during my shift. As a AWGuides volunteer, I can take the person(s) on a individual tour or take the time to speak to them one on one. Each program is great and I enjoy working within both groups. As you can see I enjoy interacting with others over the net. I have a great time working with each community group and especially DJing in the different universes. AlbanyWorlds.com has become more than just a domain for my Albany world. It's become a hub to all my activities on the internet. My personal spot on the web.
